Red Planet Programming has established a tried and tested formula for software development. The method we use is to analyse your requirements, produce a specification, build, test and deploy a system.

Analysis

We will come to your site and talk through all your expectations of the end product, and the best ways to get to the end goal. It is important that we talk to employees at all levels so both the customer and we can get an understanding as to what is expected of both parties. You the customer can then be sure that the product will match your end needs. Primarily we will want to understand your working methodologies.

Product Build

The system is then built according to the product specification, and to our in house software standards. We will use the latest programming languages to give you a product that will last. Regular meetings between Red Planet Programming and the customer are encouraged to discuss progress and queries that may arise from either party. As we progress the build, we will constantly be testing the product. Finally once we are happy, we will give the customer a finished product for testing. Only when the customer is satisfied that product matches or exceeds expectations, will we consider deployment.

Product Specification

The next stage is for Red Planet Programming to start the product specification. We will then meet with you and your team to discuss the document that we will have produced. This specification will give exact details as to what you can expect from the delivered software. It is important that we all agree that the final specification is what the finished product needs to deliver. You may wish to change the specification. This is no problem as long the final specification is agreed before the build stage commences.

Deployment

To make deployment a complete success you will need planning. We will work with our customer to agree the methods that we need take to deploy the final build to all users. We will come to your site to ensure a problem free installation. Your team can ask questions, and we can show your users how to use the product. You will receive a six month warranty with the product. Any ‘bugs’ that you report will be attended to and fixed without question.
